The Moving Towards Aerospace (MAE) project, funded by Interreg Europe, focuses on transforming SMEs from sectors facing obsolescence into the growing aerospace industry. This four-year project (2023-2027) brings together partners from seven European regions, including Italy, Norway, Spain, and Ireland, to foster sustainable innovation and industrial growth.
MAE aims to create ecosystems that support this transformation by enhancing value chains, fostering innovation in product development, and improving policy frameworks to attract investments. Public authorities, research institutions, and SMEs collaborate through interregional learning and shared innovation practices to ensure a responsible transition.
